My little Hesperax alias Rarity by Nachtana My little Hesperax alias Rarity by Nachtana
Never thought something small like this is possible to make. But it works. And it works well with the usual Tabletop tools.

Inspiration by :iconhattonslayden:… And to be honest: i didn't know that Hesperax is a character unit of the Dark eldar. I saw the Artwork, searched and found a good basic miniature and then let's go. It took whole six weeks until she was finished. And after that, i began to start another projekt: building a whole army of Ponys. But not in the Warhammer multiverse. That would need too much minis, even for a small group. My Ponys will run in the iron Kingdoms of Warmachine.
Basic: a dark elf sorceress Miniature from Games Workshop (chest, neck and hips)
Arms: Dark eldar bits, also Games workshop
Horns: both are made of brass. crafted on a lathe. Easyer as to try by hand
Base: Warmachine 30mm Infantery base, details handmade. (and magnetized)
all other stuff: PK Pro sculpting puttyl and a bit of wire in the legs. Grass and the coppice is from a tabletop shop, you can buy that in the dozen.

Other Ponys Trixie -> Blueclad Wayfarer Dinky Doo -> Druid Wilder Bon Bon -> Stone Keeper Watchponys -> Light Warbeasts
Twinkleshine -> Sculpting failure, back to the drawing table
Candy Mane -> painting in progress

My little Pony belongs to Hasbro
Warhammer belongs to Games Workshop
:iconfyre-flye: owns the original design of My little Pony and is the reason why i'm a Brony now. And i don't regret it!
:iconhasbroplz: owns My little Pony

As someone who is waiting on the new Dark Eldar codex to add to my Eldar... I wouldn't mind using this instead of an actual Hesperax.

Pretty awesome work.

One of my miniatures with most original parts. (Body and arms). Only the tail, some details and the head are full made by myself.

That's the only thing i did on my own motivation. The rest is close to the artwork.

how much would it cost to get one of these?
Nachtana Featured By Owner Jun 2, 2013  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
It depends on who should make her.
If you want to try, you need the bits i enumerated in the description and quite enough patience (or quite a lot).

If i have to do it for you it will take a long time and it will be not for free. In fact, this will cost a low three-dignit number. -Theoretical, but i yust can't ask for so much money for a tiny figurine. (even this would be realistic, others can life by making those.)

Awesome work!! I was wondering: what did you use for the Nightmare Moon shoulder armor?
Nachtana Featured By Owner Mar 19, 2013  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
Thanks. I used for the shoulder - well nothing. Exept a brass pin. The rest is made of the same material as the Head, legs and hair are made of: Pro create sculpting putty. Modeled with the tools you find in my profile.
